On the heels of reality TV hits such as Real Chance at Love, I Love New York and of course, the OG that spawned the celeb-reality beast, Flava’ of Love, For the Love of Ray-J, as another VH1 hit series, fit in perfectly with its counterparts.

But unlike the rest of the reality hits that VH1 has churned out, For the Love of Ray J had, by far, the best looking cast ever…which included Latina winner, Joanna Hernandez, a.k.a. Cocktail.

Named by none-other-than Ray-J during the first episode because of her cocktail waitress occupation, no one would have ever known that she would be such a rough contender. A pint size cutie, with a “fight-for-my-man” mentality, Cocktail held it down for weeks, providing Ray-J just what he yearned for: a girl that knew how to party yet had all the qualities of being wifey material. Ray’s biggest hang-up about Ms. Cocktail: her “I need a man to complete me” attitude. Taken completely out of context, or maybe Ray-J was looking for a flaw in a somewhat perfect picture, Ms. Cocktail was still able to convince the leading man she was the one.

When asked in our one-on-one interview how she felt about winning, Cocktail explained that she felt “very lucky and happy” and that she “definitely got what she wanted” saying Ray-J was “her man.” But when later asked how their relationship was going, she stated “as far as he and I getting serious, we’re definitely not on that level just yet.” My answer to that, which always seems to be the case in celeb-reality love shows, is that he’s probably off preparing for season 2. She didn’t seem the least bit concerned when asked if whether she would be upset if a season 2 cropped up saying “if that’s what our relationship lead to, of course not, I want nothing but the best for him.”

She also talked a little about her snitch portrayal on the show and mentioned “if this is someone you’re trying to prove yourself to, you’re going to do whatever it takes to prove that. Actions speak louder than words….I feel like it showed me being loyal.” Yes you’re never suppose to snitch, but the girl’s got a point. If Ms. Unique, the runner up on the show, could play mind games by brainwashing contestants that this game was not for them, then Cocktail can definitely have her snitch strategy, which surprisingly always worked in her favor.

Is Danger really Crazy? Ms. Cocktail says YES!! She described scenarios of her waking up in Ray-J’s bed to use the bathroom and Danger sitting in the room watching them sleep. WOW…now that’s psycho! Ms. Cocktail explains that the show actually gave a less psycho portrayal of Danger….so imagine Ms. Danger psycho behavior times 10.

Well Ms. Cocktail got her man, and that’s all that matters. An amazingly sweet girl, no wonder she won. Keep a look out for Cocktail, she’s one to watch.
